Has been on the shelf for a year as my rebuilt alternator has done 50,000 miles. When it finally worked, I installed this and it worked great. I've driven it 2500 km so far and it works perfectly. Drove from Colorado to Virginia in 100 degree heat, cranked the air conditioning up front and back, and all was good. It's worth noting that the alternator I had in my truck made a whistling noise after installation, which is common with remanufactured alternators. This one doesn't. Very quiet. I also like the fact that this is a new design...Remanufactured alternators don't handle the same load as new ones. Update 8/28/21: Bought another one for our 2012 Yukon XL Denali last year and installed it in January ahead of the long tourist season. It works great, too, despite hauling a camper across the west this summer in 95-degree heat. Very happy with it.
