The bag was taken in hand luggage on 2 flights, and then actively used to carry various things on long walks. The bag itself is very durable. The only weak point are the buckles on the straps. Not only are they falling apart, but they don't seem to last many seasons as the plastic used seems more brittle than what I'm used to. Not so fragile that it's not worth buying. The product is very good. Just don't expect to wear it for a few hours at most.
