Review on Tremco Vulkem V116GRY 116 Polyurethane Sealant by William Stewart

This is my third order for Vulkem sealant. The first arrived undamaged in the usual Prime Box packaging. The 2nd and 3rd orders arrived in a paper envelope (2nd) and a plastic envelope (3rd). Both later deliveries had damaged tube ends as shown in the picture above. One seemed unusable and went back. I had to pay a 10% price increase for a replacement tube which also arrived damaged but still usable (plastic mailing envelope). I don't know who in Quality Assurance decided that cheaper packaging would be appropriate for this type of product, but I will not purchase this or any other sealed product until they are told they will ship in boxes. I will be going back to the local shops for shopping regardless of the price. Buyer warning!
