Review on Glass Tempered Beveled Fab Mirror by Dawn Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality workmanship and fast delivery.

Two weeks before buying the glass top I bought a new solid wood round dining table and wanted to protect the table top. My friend suggested that I buy him a glass plate. But buying locally meant higher prices for both the glass top and additional shipping costs, not to mention I wouldn't know if I was being sold a quality product. I go to Revain, which is usually my quick site for researching a purchase, and I came across Fab Glass and Mirror. The product was delivered surprisingly quickly. Faster than Revain Prime on a large, heavy piece of furniture. The table top was very well packed with a thick styrofoam pad covering every surface. The box was a heavy box with reinforced styrofoam padding at the corners and very stiff corner stock to keep the corners from collapsing. The box had 12 1/2 inch nylon ties, 6 vertical and 6 horizontal, holding it together. I found this reassuring even though it took a while to get the tabletop out of the box. But I appreciate the great care they took in packing my order so well, I wouldn't have it any other way. This company is a posh business and they know how to pack furniture properly. When I finally put it on my desk, my desk immediately looked like high-end furniture from a luxury hotel. The wood structure is perfectly visible on the brass / gold washed glass. The edges are beautifully beveled and the edges are polished to perfection. Tempered glass is free from imperfections and truly shows quality workmanship. I took the liberty of pulling out my DSLR with an EF 100mm f/2.8L IS macro lens to get a close-up of the beveled edges. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Fab Glass and Mirror worktops. I am very happy with my purchase! Just a suggestion: these behemoths don't weigh much, so you'll have two pairs of strong hands to gently lift the tabletop onto the table if you decide to get one too. Putting it on the table is a job for two.
