Installed in HP G62, the screen works. At first it looks like this is even an improvement over the old screen, but after 15 seconds I realized that the viewing angles on this monitor are very poor. That means you have to adjust the angle of the monitor to your eyes very precisely, and even adjusting it in your chair changes the look. If you use your computer for photos, picasa, or even playing videos online, this isn't ideal. All of this allows me to save a few more miles from my laptop before I have to buy a new one. Manufacturers should really include viewing angles in the specs. I'm happy enough not to be returning the device, but I think it's important enough to mention so consumers can make their own decision. I don't see any dead or stuck pixels. One final note: the original panel was LG, so it may need to be replaced. The original on my G62 had a different problem - very poor dynamic range so take your poison.
