If you are looking for more health information and more fitness information then Garmin would be a great brand to try. It's primarily a fitness watch with some smartwatch stuff. This is why I decided to get a refurbished watch because I can try out Garmin watches and see if I like them, among other good reasons. So if you want to try Garmin and love a fitness watch, give it a try. BE PATIENT. Lots of different software updates, so please wait a bit to download them. They had a link on the sheet but I just had the watch done. It took a while so don't worry about technical issues if you just got your watch and it's not syncing. Or sync and desync. Give it time. It's annoying but to be expected. The watch has software updates. Once this is done the sync is fine and I get notifications on my phone. NO sync problems. It also connected to my phone immediately. (iPhone 6s plus) If you are used to Apple Watch or Fitbit, please be patient and give yourself some time with the watch as there is a bit of a setup/learning curve working with the watch and getting all the details health and fitness information, apps; Background images, etc. in the Garmin Connect apps. (There's connectivity and IQ, it's with wallpapers and more) Just give yourself a few hours and do some workouts. It's my second day and at least I have pretty much everything that's important to me. still testing. The watch looks like new! You can buy 20mm straps to change straps. I was very skeptical about refurbished watches but their items are refurbished by Garmin, fast customer service, good delivery time. Nothing to lose. At that price I bought an extended warranty just in case. It was about 8 and some changes for extra peace of mind but I don't think I need it now. This is an ugly box.
