As someone who absolutely loves the versatility of the Black & Decker 20V battery line, the fast charger is an absolute must! A battery for a drill, blower, hedge trimmer, weed cutter?!? It's just wonderful. But plain and simple, the battery doesn't last forever and as a weekend warrior you don't have time to wait all day to recharge your batteries. I have two batteries and with this charger I don't have to wait to charge the batteries. working battery for the next project. While blowing away the leaves, I charge another battery. Then, when it's discharged, I turn it off gently. I don't know exactly when a fully discharged battery will be fully charged, but my guess is less than 30 minutes.
