Well, that's a throwback to almost 2 years of daily use. I'm not sure how regular leather straps will hold up as I've never used them. I wear my Fitbit Versa every day while hiking, biking, gardening, housework, etc. I take it off to swim or shower. The leather has some significant signs of wear and is starting to tear and peel. The metal pins are unreliable and the straps sometimes fall off. For $10 and as many times as I've used it, it's worked great and I think I'll be replacing it with another one. I have a small wrist and found them to fit better than some of the thicker straps.
