Review on πŸŽ₯ Immerse in Stunning 4K Quality: ViewSonic True 4K Projector with 3500 Lumens HDR Support and Dual HDMI for Home Theater Day and Night, Netflix Streaming with Dongle included (PX747-4K) by David Golden

Good for presentations but not for home theater.

Pros: very bright. 4k uhd with XRP pixel shift. The difference between an XRP chip and a 4K DLP chip is NOT significant - you will never notice the difference in resolution unless you see both projectors side by side if you look very closely at the screen. Great focus. Cons: Absolutely terrible black levels. washed color. No lens shift. Very light gray border around the image. (ALL 4K XRP based projectors have this frame. It's just that this PJ has a very bright one! See my upcoming Optima UHD 50 review). Yes, the 747 resolution is much better and the projector is significantly brighter. But the overall image quality does not only depend on resolution or brightness. The X10 was only a few years ahead of them in terms of image quality, especially black levels. Color and visible contrast. If you are looking for a presentation projector, this is a good choice! If you are looking for home cinema I would suggest looking at the Optima UHD 50 or any other projector that uses the RGBRGB color wheel. If budget is of paramount importance and you want to watch movies in a home theater environment, I would suggest getting a quality 1080P projector instead and you can't afford to upgrade to an Optima UHD 50 or better. . Again, this would be a great projector to use for presentations or daytime TV viewing in a living room with plenty of ambient light or similar environment. using the RGBRGB color wheel.
