Review on 🌱 BulkSupplements.com Pea Protein Isolate - Vegan Protein Powder - Unflavored Pea Protein Powder (1 Kilogram - 2.2 lbs) by James Bullets

You can love it or hate it.

I bought this because the price was right and I wanted an easy, unflavored, plant-based protein. I hate that every protein product seems sweet which causes me to crave sugar and keep my sugar cravings going. Not to mention that the stevia protein powder along with the added sweet fruit makes the protein shake almost unbearable. I'm lactose intolerant, so whey proteins, while delicious, often make me bloat like a balloon. Egg whites are often too sweet, have an odd eggy taste, and make my lips sticky, and soy or rice protein is too hard. I also want to reduce animal products. I know I love peas anyway, so I was hoping that pure pea protein would be the life-saving powder I'm looking for, both in terms of content and great value. I just made a bowl of sugary oatmeal and added a scoop of this pea protein and I'm eating it while writing down the pros and cons. Pros: Pure vegan food! Cannot be compared to 1 ingredient and the feeling of complacency you get from eating vegetables. - Good amount of protein: 24g per 30g serving, about your average serving size of protein and comparable to other protein powders. Almost no bitterness, delicious mild umami taste. I'd love to find a tasty use for it. It doesn't melt in your mouth like a grindstone, but there's nothing wrong with it. the taste can overwhelm sweet things. My oatmeal, for example, tastes almost meaty with a hint of sweetness, even though it's one of those Quaker sugar packs. It's a bit strange, but I can deal with it. Strange static. it constantly flies onto plastic surfaces and sticks to things. Not quite what I'm used to from food. - the smell of animal feed. It smells like animal feed. Not bad, but I like the smell of alfalfa hay or white pepper. It's not critical for me, but it might be for someone. It definitely doesn't have the smell and taste of dry ice like whey. High sodium content. Not a problem for me, but maybe for some. So in my opinion there are pros and cons. I would probably buy it again as the pros outweigh the cons for me. You can be different!
