Why isn't this jug and filter sold in the US?
This design filters water faster and more importantly prevents the filter from drying out which leads to early failure of traditional Brita filters. As with other Brita filters they are expensive but if you need filtered water the Brita is a good solution and this design is a big improvement over more traditional filters.
