Beautiful sheer fabric with a separate fabric lining makes this skirt opaque. The length is approximately 37 inches from waist to floor. The description says it fits a 23.6-35.4 inch waist size, but that's not accurate. Laid flat, the waist measured 11.5 inches or 23 inches, but the elastic isn't very stretchy: If you try to stretch it to 35.4 inches, the threads holding it in place snap. My waist is about 33 inches and it was too tight for me. If your waist is between 24-30 inches, you will be comfortable. I bought the light green and it's really light green, not olive or sage like I thought from the pictures. I returned it.
