Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Maximize Your Run with Mizuno Women's Wave Creation 20 Running Shoe by Kris Martin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Update: Previously loyal to Mizuno. Don't waste money!

Update: Mizuno support contacted me. The shoes come with a 1 year limited warranty which they honored after sending pictures, videos and discussing that I cannot send them the shoes for inspection because I still wear them for running and we all currently wear them Got through Covid-19 outbreak they are sending a new pair to replace the damaged ones. I'm an avid Mizuno fan and have only been with Mizuno for 5 years. I bought this shoe for marathon training and chose the Wave Creation 20 over the Wave Runner because I read reviews that this shoe is better for training. I've been training for a marathon for two months now, I've run most of my runs indoors due to the weather and the shoes are literally losing their soles. The connection between the heel and sole of both shoes was torn and almost completely torn off. When I walk it makes a squeaking and popping noise. I took it to my local running store and they thought it was a manufacturing defect based on my wearing patterns and work schedule. I contacted Mizuno directly about this (explaining that I'm not asking for a refund, just wanting them to acknowledge the defect) and they haven't responded, which gives me a bad impression of their customer loyalty. Although I've only been running Mizuno for 5 years, I'm looking for other brands that are better built and have better customer response. I'm saddened and disappointed to do this in the middle of training season but I don't want to spend money to buy another pair of these shoes just for it to happen again.
