Fits as expected with the caveat that the shoes ALWAYS run small. I wear women's size 9.5/10 and bought both 42 and 43. 43 fits perfectly. 42 returns. For reference, I have a medium width foot with a high instep. First time wearing this brand - I usually stick with Shimano. Excellent supportive sole. The SPD got through without incident. Please note that the sole is not slippery and you can walk in these shoes. A slight rocker effect compensates for the stiff outsole when walking. Easier to close than my last pair. I buy another one as a backup; it is so good
