I love this coat! It is durable, water resistant and its color is highly visible at night. My only complaint is that the strap that goes under the belly is velcro. What I HATE, hate, hate! It picks up dirt, dog hair and anything that gets in its way. Replacing it with a clasp similar to the one on the chest would be the ideal solution. After a cycle in the laundry, the velcro was practically ruined. As such, I wouldn't recommend letting your dog get their coat so dirty that you can't just wipe the mess off. I would suggest taking it off if your dog comes into contact with mud. Even the large size (22 inches) does not come with two front closures. Which would be aesthetically pleasing. In addition, I would say that this is a very good choice. Your dog will look very elegant in his coat. :)
