I received my heater on the 20th, it was in good condition and worked great. He kept the water temperature at a set level of 78 degrees. BUT TODAY. It wasn't until 6 days later when I was doing a 50% water change that I walked in and found the glass was cracked! Luckily no glass broke inside the tank. It fell apart completely after I took it off. I am very disappointed that this happened and my husband and I do not understand why this happened. It was placed on the filter in such a way that a constant flow of water flowed through it, as recommended. So what can cause it to burst. In my opinion, this is really unsafe for aquariums. ****UPDATE**** Two days after posting my review, a Mylivell seller emailed me to resolve the issue. I am very satisfied with their customer service and professionalism. They were very sincere and quick in their answers. I currently have a new 36 gallon heater. It's been six days since our new tank was installed and the heater seems to be working fine. Like the previous heater, this one maintains the set water temperature. My husband and I very much hope that the broken glass pipe from the previous heater was an isolated case and will not happen again. But if another problem comes up I'll be sure to post an update. 01/17/20
