Ideal for scalp and greasy hair. I don't know about hair loss.
I like using Nioxin mainly because it leaves my scalp clean which gets quite oily. I have no idea if this will do anything for hair loss and that's why I got it. My hair fall slowed down for a while after I started using it, but I think it happened on its own and had nothing to do with the Nioxin. I found another brand with similar shampoo and conditioner that is even better than Nioxin, but Nioxin is cheaper and that's what it has. In general I recommend.
