Review on Waterproof Shockproof Protective Survival Container by Derek Faseworld

Revainrating 2 out of 5

You get what you pay for. . .

First . . . This box is NOT "waterproof". Secondly. . . I highly doubt it's "impact resistant". I put it on the kitchen table after opening the packaging, spilled lil coffee on it and flushed it down the sink. Then I opened it and noticed a slight dampness. Hm? So I decided to do a test. Put a piece of dry cloth in it and soak it in the sink for about 5 minutes. When I opened it the cloth was pretty damp so I'm pretty sure it's not "waterproof". Then I didn't like the handle or what was sticking out on the side so I decided to cut it off with a dremel. The plastic was so tough that it cut fairly quickly (the tougher the plastic, the cheaper it is and the more likely it is to break). Now I'm not going to go out and throw it up (because I need it for my purposes), but I'm pretty sure it won't survive. I use this case to plug into a much larger truly "waterproof" case. But for those who really need or want a "waterproof and shockproof" case, look elsewhere. . . I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because it's just the right size for "My" app. Oh, there are NO "carabiners" included either.
