I put a lot of music on this thing and I confess I don't use it much but I've only charged it once so far and it sat on the shelf for a long time and still reports a full battery. I took it apart to see the inside, looking for any major design flaws, and it doesn't look too badly designed either. The interface is a nightmare to navigate, changing some of the controls you'd expect on an iPod. clone a device to make it different, just to make it different. The middle click key, which you would expect to function as an enter key in the main UI, is actually a back key, and the top menu key on the keyboard appears as an enter key. It would definitely be better if it had homemade software on it. The screen isn't anything special either, I wouldn't use the video playback feature on this device at all, instead I'd opt to use it for its pretty decent audio output if you want a cheap MP3 player you don't have to worry thanks to the low price so much about damage. It can also be a decent MP3 player for a kid that you don't want to give an expensive fancy device to, especially if they tend to damage things!
