These shoes are very uncomfortable which is disappointing considering I read good reviews about them on a cycling blog I followed. The ankle strap is stiff and cuts into the ankle. They're also shorter than most 39's - 39's are usually too big for me and they were form fitting. I teach indoor cycling and join before class to see if they feel good pedaling. I did 5 rotations and said there was no way my ankles could handle a 45 minute session let alone a long ride. I ended up wearing my tennis shoes to class and returning them. I bought a pair of new Bontragers Evoke MTB shoes at my local bike shop and they are MUCH more comfortable.
