I bought these molds without hesitation but with hope. This worked exactly as I had hoped. There is a learning curve from the first use. My fondant thickened quickly, so it turned out to be best to gently pour the fondant onto the mold, spreading it out with a large metal spatula and filling each square to the top, but no more. Pour VERY hot water over a metal spatula to flatten each square and scrape the fondant from the dividers into each square to create a perfect square. Rinse and constantly heat the spatula under hot water, smoothing the surface and scraping the chocolate from all separators. After the fondant had cooled, each square popped up beautifully when you pressed the bottom of each square. Extremely easy to clean with hot water. Two molds were enough for my 2.5 pound recipe.
