Review on πŸ” Stainless Steel Center Finder - Peachtree Woodworking by Bryan Gallardo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A 24 inch ruler that is legible but not perfect.

The biggest problem with this is that the back is completely blank. I only see another whole area that could be used for marking, but it's completely empty. be flat, not too thin and not too fat. We'll see how the markings hold up, but so far they seem good and easy to read for my aging eyes. I should note that it wasn't advertised as double sided, but after that this got me thinking why not. It's nice to have markings to identify the center. What's not so great is that you can't start the measurement over the edge. The scales seem to start or end maybe 1/4 inch from the edge. I didn't measure the exact distance, but ZERO didn't start at the edge. On the top scale this is provided because ZERO is in the center of the ruler, but on the bottom scale the left side is 0 and the right side is 24 inches. The only problem is the offset so you can't use a ruler. measuring in a crappy way Not a very thoughtful design in my opinion, it certainly could have been better.

Pros
  • With the handy middle ruler, you can find the middle quickly and easily without any mathematical calculations. The exact center is clearly marked with a circle.
Cons
  • Only available in white
