Taped at both ends to be absolutely sure it's securely fastened what it was. The outer parts that connect to the outlet that comes out of my shower screen were fine, and the end connector that holds my handheld shower handle was fine. The part that fails is the back half of the notched serrated plate that houses the actual filter. It's not flush. After screwing in, there is about 1/16 of a gap that allows water to seep everywhere after the water is turned on, and the filter housing is actually filled with water. TERRIBLE fluent. Despite everything, it leaks, and that is unacceptable. It should come back. Theoretically beautiful, but not airtight.
