This does exactly what a mixer cover should do.covers the mixer. The cover even accomdates both of the bowls stashed under it. I don't really see the point in all the pockets, I put the paddle and whip inside my bowls, under the cover, to keep them clean. That said, the fabric pockets are very nice. I didn't care for the plastic pockets as they do nothing for the cover's appearance. To remedy the problem, I took small, sharp scissors and cut the plastic pocket and it's edging off. Looks so much nicer now! I also washed the cover on a gentle cycle in my washer and then tossed it in the dryer for a few minutes to fluff out some of the packing creases. I air-dryed it the rest of the way. Came out great!
