very handy for not worrying about falling out the window
I was very nervous about the 2nd floor window which was underground. Before installation, I never opened the window for fear the child would fall out. This allows me to open the window and get good airflow while protecting the little ones. ADVICE. Don't install it completely on a window. Make sure you leave room when opening and closing the window to allow any window latches to slide. Ours was mounted right on the window, presumably for maximum stability, but the latch on the grille beeps when I open it.
