would not install but customer service was excellent

This looks the same as the existing Maytag filter and is listed as the correct part; However the filter does not snap/screw tightly (we have KitchenAid) and therefore cannot be used. It's useless. Try other brands that also claim to be compatible. UPDATE: We ordered CF5 from Crystala Filters and what a difference! It snapped in half a turn and works great. Learned from ICEPURE! 12/04/18: The seller contacted me directly, expressed their sincere concern about this and refunded my money in full. The product didn't fit us, but I have to give credit to the seller for doing everything right. As I see in other reviews, the product is suitable for many devices. Just not KitchenAid.
