Confused by negative reviews

This box is easy to assemble and waterproof. We are puzzled by the many bad reviews regarding missing/poor instructions and lack of water resistance. We now have three boxes of Keter (two smaller than this one) and each has the same bad reviews. Since we read the reviews, we assembled each of these boxes without the instructions. It took us 10 minutes to unpack and assemble the first box, while box 2 and 3 only took us 5 minutes each. The instructions seem clear and unambiguous to us, but you really don't need them. We tested the water resistance with a typical hose nozzle on "shower". We pointed the nozzle at the box to simulate rain: no leaks. Then we turned the nozzle to the side so that water gets into the joint between the lid and the box: there are no leaks. Finally, we set the nozzle to the 'Jet' position and sprayed around the box, at the top of the box and at the junction between the box and the lid as if we were watering our deck with a hose. Small leaks, but only if we deliberately aimed the jet at the joint between the lid and the box. Highly recommended for easy assembly, water resistance and stylish design. Our limited experience with Keter boxes suggests they are well made and inexpensive.
