Review on πŸ“Š ATN110A Auto Internal Calibration Electromagnetic Torbal by Richard Cuneo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just the right size for a professional chef.

As well as using it in the kitchen, I bought this balance to accurately measure magnetic weight and force for rotating equipment. What really caught my attention was the USB serial port. I haven't used this tool yet, but at some point I plan to log readings to a computer so I can do automatic selection and balancing (which is far too complicated and tedious to do by hand). So far I've only tested it with random objects. For example, weigh an avocado and a pineapple. Then place both items on the scale and make sure they are stacked correctly. Obviously true. Anyway, it works by default. In about 90% of the cases, the measured values are within +/-20 mg, sometimes there are outliers of 50 mg. At about 2kg full scale, 20mg is 10ppm, which is pretty amazing when you think about it. You *must* read the manual though. The 7-segment display isn't very intuitive if you want to use some of the fancier modes, e.g. B. to make sure your pet rat is sticking to their diet.

Pros
  • True Class I 0.1 mg analytical balance with automatic internal calibration and three-way weighing chamber
Cons
  • Faded
