I bought this for my mum who was going on her first cruise and wanted a small bag in exactly the same style, she used it as a purse and also as a bag for small gifts and such when not on board. My mom carries a lot of stuff in her purse, that's easily 15 pounds! So I was very nervous, judging by other reviews it might break! Well I didn't tell her because I didn't want her to be nervous π¬ but I was a bit concerned for her. She's back from her trip and says she's not torn! I was glad to hear! The bag worked great, she said!
