Review on 🚗 Uniden R3 GPS, DSP, Voice Alert Silver Extreme Long Range Radar Laser Detector by John Contreras

Was a dedicated V1 user years ago. Bought to have more information on who is using the radar in my area and have been using the unit for about 3 weeks. I was recently driving around New England and was able to tell which ones were using LEO Radar and who had just parked. The device was so sensitive that it worked long before we could see them. I recommend checking out the VortexRadar website as it has a ton of useful information since you'll need to spend a little time setting it up. After setting it up for my part of the US, I leave it in highway mode the whole time. I still get false alarms in K-band from cars using BSM monitoring, but that doesn't happen often. The benefit is that this module tells you the frequency of the alert so it can be reduced/eliminated with advanced settings. Excellent value for the $269 I paid for it. The double suction cups came loose once and I can't use a large suction cup because my windshield is too steep. Interested in the best option. Otherwise great work Uniden!
