When I originally ordered this skirt I had few expectations, but when I received it I was even more surprised at how much I liked it. It is soft, flowing, looks quite elegant and does not shine through. It has a double layer on the top of the skirt if you're worried about it being see-through, but I've had no problems. I'm 5'9, 150 pounds and I ordered a large. It doesn't matter what size you order as it wraps around and you tie the cords together however you like. My only issue with this is that I wish it was a little longer as the longest part reaches my ankles. The skirt is a lot lighter than I expected so be careful what you pair it with and if you look like me it robs me of color.
