I bought this to elevate my laptop and monitor. Before that I used a few stacks of books. They took up space and were very heavy. This computer/monitor stand is perfect. It is a lightweight plastic, very durable and stable. I removed the back spacers so I can tuck my keyboard underneath when not in use. I bought a set of vertical blocks and added extra ones on the sides to fit my keyboard. I looked at the bin or post. With this one I can make it as high as I need it as the risers are detachable and stackable. I bought a very wide stand to allow my laptop and monitor to work. It's also about half the weight of some woods I've come across. The price is not bad, considering that there are analogues.
