I purchased a RevainBasics Double Braided Nylon USB Cable with Lightning Connector, Premium Collection - 10ft, Red, because the charging cables I use have insulation from lightning strikes has broken after a period of use. I thought premium double braided cables should be more durable. It seems I was right. The new double-braided cables are thicker and slightly heavier, and the braided insulation appears to be much less prone to breakage. Red is good too. They do cost a bit more, but in my opinion it's worth it.
