This seems to be the case when things get worse the more they cost
I sent the Knipex precision cutters back and got them instead because the Knipex tip actually broke when I tried to to cut the wire of a pair $5 wire cutters will cut without damage. On a similar occasion I tried to cut 14 gauge wire with it and although it did cut the blades went nicked. Now this is where it gets really weird. I was able to fix the nick in the blade simply by poking it with my nail. Oh yeah, I'm not exaggerating. I was only able to put the metal back in place with the tools that God had given me. I don't think more can be said at the moment.
