Doesn't fit flush with my new 3DS XL. If you insert it in the wrong direction, it will be difficult to pull out. If you have a transparent protective case, you will benefit from the pen protruding a little. I still don't see it as a huge plus as it can easily get stuck on anything and come out on its own. It fits my DS Lite perfectly. Taking it out is a pain. With a tight seal, it does its job of keeping dust out. If you try to use it on a DSi XL it will stick, but stick out even further than the 3ds. Finally, I understand that the stylus is for 3DS series. However, DS Lite wins the most. If you want to keep it away from your PDA, this doesn't apply.
