I haven't noticed any improvement in my pup's constant barking despite trying several positive reinforcement methods. I want her to know what's "barkworthy" and what's not. The remote control is ideal because she can really bark with it; for another "obnoxious" bark when I tell her to shut up (and she doesn't), she gets a warning beep, sprays, and rewards herself once she's quiet. Very effective and humane training tool. It's true that the odor lingers on, but nothing a quick wipe down with scented baby wipes can't remove.
