So my Bengal is self paralyzing. He is under veterinary care and is on medication and a recovery program. He wears a catsuit all the time to keep the chronic licking at bay, leading to a bloody mess when he tears himself apart. We put this collar on him when we do NOT want him to get on his body while we apply ointments, powders and conditioners. It literally doesn't move when it's on. Almost scary. Very sad. But it gives us the time we need to heal his wounds, fix him up, and then put his new jumpsuit back on! I recommend this product!
