Used 1-2 times a week since May and still working
I got this to be able to put the camera further away. I tried connecting a couple of USB extension cables together and there was too much loss to work reliably. This completely solved the problem and continues to work 8 months later. I use it 1-2 times a week, connect it to my camera and computer and then roll it up again until next use. Connectors sometimes wear out over time, but this still provides a good, reliable connection at both ends.
