I bought this toy for my 3 year old cockatiel so I can change his toy, diversify and stimulate his brain in his flight cage. While this toy may seem designed more for larger birds like macaws or gray parrots, it works well for smaller birds as well. My cockatiel immediately jumped up and started climbing the strings and gnawing on colorful wooden blocks. Chew cords are tough, and there are a lot of them in this toy. The wooden parts are round and smooth, which is good for my bird. The connecting thread is a bit thin. It only works well for the first few days, but I'm afraid it won't last long. All in all a useful toy. I recommend it.
