3m double sided tape would be better
You know those sticky car dashboard mounts that advertise that you can take them off and wash them to make them sticky again? This stand is glued to the same material and the heat from my laptop caused the adhesive pad to come off. I ended up removing the stand and ripping off the sticky materials to attach 3m of double sided tape, it's pretty decent now.
