Doesn't work with Unided GMR648-2CK

The title says it all. I have a Unidel GMR648-2CK walkie-talkie with a bad battery (not holding a charge). I bought it to replace a burned one but it doesn't charge at all. I've tried this on both radios to make sure there isn't a problem with the radio itself and got the same result on a known working radio.
