When I first put it on it looked great, the Ram logo was a nice touch. But add a dog and it looked like a used hairbrush. And my dog doesn't shed much. I got this because my dog loves to bend over in the front seat of my truck, but I wanted to protect my console from his paws. It does its job, but it struck me as capturing the abundance of dog hair. I believe this is a terry cloth material, this is like a hair magnet. I washed it several times, but decided that it was not worth it, and took another kind - leather. If you don't have a dog, this will probably work great.
