The gun itself is a great home tool, very easy to use and comes in secure packaging. The earrings look exactly like the picture but please please please. If you are sensitive to "fake" jewelry as while it may be hypoallergenic it is absolutely not 100% stainless steel and can cause severe allergic reactions and infections, DO NOT USE THESE EARRINGS! I have 4 piercings in total, the 3rd and 4th on each earlobe and I have several other piercings but I have never had a reaction like this. Anyway, I would try replacing the earrings with reliable surgical steel earrings if you really want to try replacing them after a few days. All 4 piercings were EXTREMELY infected within 2 days which was very surprising at first as I took every precaution and sterilized all tools for routine cleaning. After several unbearable days I finally had to contact the doctor and ask her to prescribe antibiotics and steroid creams for allergies. So yes, infections and allergies together were terrible. My ears were swollen, the lymph fluid was disgusting, and the pain was really, really terrible. Not only that, since I was so allergic to those "hypoallergenic" earrings I had rashes all over my body. After several days of antibiotics I was finally able to replace the earrings with the ones I had from a previous professional piercing. As soon as all 4 earrings came out, all allergy symptoms stopped immediately and the rashes disappeared. After that the healing process took quite a long time as the piercing itself was around the perimeter of the earring as it expanded and was shed, although luckily I saved her in the end as all that work and pain in vain didn't help. That seems to be the route I wanted to go. If you have no allergies and low sensitivity by all means go ahead, it was really great at the beginning but I warn you! The money I spent treating the infection and the time I spent taking care of these things wasn't worth it. Waiting out this quarantine and spending money on a professionally done piercing will always pay off 100% for me!
