This year our neighbors set up a Halloween driveway with candy handling tables. Designed to make it funnier as the pandemic has changed regular Halloween. A little girl on the street asked me if I was a Tinkerbell when she saw me in a green sundress with my hair in a bun this summer, so I decided to run with her. $45 for these short nylon fairy wings just didn't suit me. I tried making my own and this rainbow movie was PERFECT. Not so thin that it's difficult to work with, but not too thick that it doesn't look delicate, which is what I wanted. Holds up to several hours of wear and several walking blocks with a breeze. Worked really well with spray adhesive between layers to seal in the detailed curves of the wire. I trimmed about 1/2 inch from the edges of the wings and used a heat gun (and a lighter for tighter spots) to flatten the edges. Work this part very slowly so you don't burn it.
