Review on Spire Holding Tweezers Assembly Servicing by Jenny Washington

Low Quality, Higher Price, But Great Useful Idea!

I thought about getting a pair of these but ended up buying them instead. Great idea and can save your sanity sometimes. I gave that three stars but I reckon there's a good chance you'll get a star or five for your package. These are cheap stainless steel tweezers. For example, seventy-five cents if you buy them at a hardware store or flea market. They just add grooves to make it what is most useful. My pair was unfortunately pretty poorly sharpened. If they were only a few dollars they would be fine, but for six to eight bucks I expect to get them done right no matter how easy it is. I have the tools to fix it and I will. It annoys me that I have to do this, but they also weren't expensive enough to guarantee a time for returns or exchanges. The only other pairs I see for sale on Amazon are the ridiculously overpriced specialty locks or the Excelta ones which are fantastic and come in several screw mount models but are also quite expensive. They will work, but may be willing to tweak or swap them out. I will say that they are wide enough to stay stiff enough and not twist/run around when you put pressure on them. It's good. I wish I had them sooner and they hold lots of little screws (or pins) in both directions/axes so I know I'll really appreciate them should the need arise.
