I've been using quality pens and rotary machines for a number of years. I wrote this to hope and help someone on a budget. This thing applies ink. Works better than Cheyenne in my opinion. It sets in quickly and the shadows are smooth. I've been struggling with my setup for a while trying to find something that suits me better at the moment. This little pen may not last forever, but the $650 machines I own get all the maintenance they need within the first few months. This pays off pretty quickly. It's small but feels good in the hand. Easy to grab and flip on any occasion. The thing is also super quiet. In addition, the construction and settings are also reliable. Overall I am very impressed and would recommend it. It comes with a cheap RCA cable and I would suggest getting a better quality cable to make sure it's consistent.
