I'm a wildlife photographer. Lots to love about this pack. It is well made with lots of storage compartments. Looking at the photos I thought two tripods might fit. I was happy to find that it can fit three. One on each and one on the front of the pack. I don't take three tripods with me, but I do take one, a monopod and a folding stool when I'm out in the woods and photographing birds. So for me that's a big plus. When it arrived I loaded it up with all my gear: large lenses, small lenses, a water bottle and all the gear I take with me into the forest. Fully packed, it probably weighed 30 pounds. I walked the local park for a while and can honestly say this is the most comfortable backpack I've ever carried. The material that comes in contact with your back is well padded, nothing will rub against you and cause a hot spot. Waterproof bottom and rain cover. This is a great travel backpack even if you are not a photographer. Access to your belongings is only possible from the back, with the exception of some pockets on the front and on the sides. Very secure and with a lock, I'm sure your belongings will stay safe when you check them in on the plane. Love it, can't say enough good things about it, perfect size for my needs and very reasonably priced for what you get I think. This pack is a winner!
