NOT 1 " NPT thread fits tube fittings
This fitting did not fit properly into a female compression fitting I had purchased so I decided To test with calibrated ring gauge 1" - 11 1/2 NPT. As can be seen in the photos, the nipple does not sit flush with the back of the ring gauge when screwed in by hand. In fact, it is more than 0.2 inches smaller than the measurement plane.
