These casters were just what I was looking for. I put them on an Ikea kitchen island that I use in my office for all sorts of projects. The space doubles as a yoga studio, so I wanted something I could roll around as needed. The island is very durable - the casters support it well and roll well on the wooden floor. Also, the wheels look like they were made for the island, unlike some of the big rubber wheels I've seen on the Revain. A few tips: 1. Measure the legs you want to put on and choose the right roller size. I ordered 1 5/8" leg rolls measuring approximately 1.25 x 1.5/8"2. The Ikea legs had a pin hole where there were plastic protective caps. I took them off and my dad helped me to drill the holes from which the rollers were made. If you're unsure about drilling, call your dad. 3. Although the island is pretty solid, I don't think I would install casters on a chair that is heavy and you want to cast. I believe some of the negative reviews are related to this usage. I roll my island to yoga daily, but I see how a 200-pound dude rolling a chair can damage the plastic wheels.
