Putting a carafe on a hot stove isn't easy. It sticks to the bottom of the coffee grounds container. The buzzer didn't work either. The screen goes blank except for the clock and a small button to turn the screen on when not in use. No protruding handles. Real enrichment. I'm sorry it didn't work for me. Maybe I'll try again later when my ninja is dead. 14 cups may seem like a lot, but 4 cups or less will do. It is very convenient to make a full carafe when there is company in the evening and the coffee is good and hot!
